This site contains learning materials in differing formats (HTML, pdf,
audio/ video). Some are lectures by internationally renowned speakers and
others are interactive courses.
The information is freely available for download and use. All we ask you to
do is to recognise the Young Train project and the European Union FP6
programme for providing the funding

Format of materials
The materials are available in different formats as HTML (large and small
resolution) or PDF, and in addition some are available in audio/ video. You
can therefore choose which format is best for you according to the speed of
your internet connection and also intended use of the material.

can be reached here
 | HTML – big – You can start viewing these straightaway, suitable for
viewing with a slow internet connection (modem). However they cannot be
resized – your monitor will need to display at 1152x864 pixels or above to
see these properly. |
 | HTML – small – as above, but suitable for a smaller monitor (showing
1024x768 pixels or above). |
 | PDF – you will need to wait for the file to download before you can
play. Files are quite large so more suitable for ISDN or broadband
connections. However they can resized to any monitor and are high quality.

 | Audio – You can listen to the presenter as well as seeing the slides
which change automatically in time with the talk. You will need to wait a
few minutes before you can start to play this – you will need 1Mbps
broadband connection or better |
 | Video - You can watch and listen to the presenter as well as seeing
the slides which change automatically in time with the talk. You will need
to wait a few minutes before you can start to play this – you will need
